lol, I read that title and knew there had to be catch. I had to think through my acronyms for a bit.
Sucker Punch already has my money. I have enjoyed all of there games Rocket: Robot on Wheels came way back on the N64.
lol The Xbox and the ps3 flipped. The Xbox old xbox had the matte finish. The new PS3 has the matte finish. The fat PS3 had the glossy finish and touch sensitive buttons, now the new Xbox has the glossy finish and the touch sensitive buttons.
Although I like the looks and the features more than my Elite, that doesn't change the fact that I already own a functioning Xbox 360 (knocks on wood).
That image would be complete if he is going pew pew while on the elephant.
I am so deeply conflicted after reading the interview.
He may exaggerate the capabilities of his games, but it doesn't change the fact that he still makes great enjoyable games. I love Fable and Black and White.
It has to probably do with the amount bandwidth required. You can do 3D on a low bandwidth cable, but you will likely have to sacrifice resolution. As with your example, there is a maximum resolution that you can output through a VGA cable. You need some of the newer hdmi cables to do 1080p 3D video along with the necessary image refresh rates.
Same here. I only realized after a few hours of reading that I was misreading the name.
The placement may be slightly unfamiliar, but this layout will likely be more effective. The button arrangement allows the connection between the 1st and 2nd digit of the thumb to push the button which is ideal.
Something I noticed in the talk was them mentioning the green screen function in Uncharted 2. That is something that Microsoft should capitalize on with Kinect. It is perfect for amateur motion capture and it could use all of Kinect's features.
The walk in co-op is noteworthy feature that also caught my attention, but Microsoft still has yet to show us anything but casual games in motion. If this E3 goes by without any hardcore Kinect games, I will consider this E3 a failure for Microsoft.
Good point. Sony has been only focusing on the controller portion of the Move; however, Move has many parts. They really should show off the camera again because they are largely able to do what Nintendo and Microsoft can do.
"They're trying to take us to the next level in human evolution"
What??? I'll wait till I can play it before I judge, but I don't know about this next level of evolution. Sounds scary.
Move's success will likely be determined by the games that uses it rather than the hardware. Nintendo and Microsoft are able to sell their product based on novelty. Sony has to not only compete with 2 other motion devices, but also has to one up the Wii and convince people to try another wand like peripheral.
Luckily, success for Sony means not only that the hardware was sold, but the games were also good. Everyone will likely win if Sony delivers, not just casuals o...
Yeah the US store is very easy to navigate. I am always baffled by the layouts of other regions.
It pains me to see how the PSP suffers due to piracy. Although I love the custom firmwares on the PSP, I would give that all up to see the PSP have better sales and as a result more games.
The event may have been awesome in the sense that it was well put together and Cirque du Soleil did a great job, but most of the negativity is either coming from disappointment in the product or people acting like they are above this.
I would likely make similar jokes about the event if I were there, but that doesn't change the fact that I would have probably enjoyed being there.
I think the ponchos lit up from what I have read. It just makes this event even trippyer
There's no doubt that they will show some of the casual stuff. These keynote speeches are meant to showcase what the system offers. However, recalling speeches from previous years Sony seems know what to give the people in terms of content. I'm looking forward to this speech because all the expected games have been already revealed. I am not sure what to expect, but there is no doubt now that I will be surprised.
